Cookie notice / browser storage

A small amount of storage, with a clear purpose.

This notice explains the cookies and browser storage used by the UnitWeave site and how to change your preference.

Cookie notice

Read the scope before you share or rely on information.

The site is designed to work without advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. We use a small first-party preference record for this notice and a temporary browser session record to preserve approved enquiry attribution. We do not use that storage to identify a person by itself.

Cookie notice

The details that govern this site and its project conversations.

01

Necessary preference

The site stores whether you have dismissed the cookie notice so it does not appear on every visit.

  • Storage key: a first-party UnitWeave consent preference
  • Purpose: remember your notice choice
  • Lifetime: until the browser storage is cleared or the preference is replaced
  • No advertising profile is created from this preference
02

Enquiry attribution session

When you arrive with approved UTM campaign parameters, the site may keep the landing path and those parameters in session storage until the browser session ends.

  • Purpose: help us understand which approved source produced a business enquiry
  • Data is limited to the landing path and approved campaign fields
  • It is copied into a form only when you submit a project brief
  • Do not include personal or confidential information in a campaign URL
03

No non-essential tracking by default

At the time of this notice, the site does not load an advertising network, behavioral analytics script or social tracking pixel.

  • External font delivery may create a request to the font provider when the browser loads the stylesheet
  • The lead form uses same-origin submission and does not store a password or customer record in the browser
  • If a new non-essential tool is introduced, this notice and the preference flow should be updated first
  • Browser privacy controls can block storage without preventing basic page reading
04

Your choices

You can choose the minimal option in the banner or clear the site storage in your browser settings. Either choice leaves the core site and enquiry form available.

  • Only necessary: keep the first-party preference and no optional tracking
  • Allow current preferences: acknowledge the notice and keep the same limited storage
  • Clear storage: the notice may appear again and a new enquiry session starts
  • Blocking storage may remove attribution continuity but does not submit data
05

Questions and updates

The Cookie notice is reviewed when storage practices change. The effective date above identifies the current explanation.

  • Read the Privacy notice for the broader handling of submitted information
  • Use the Contact page to ask what a specific browser record means
  • A browser may expose storage under a domain or origin name rather than a company label
  • We do not treat this notice as consent to unrelated marketing
